We are creating an iconic destination in the heart of Tenerife designed to support healthy eating, farming and the world of gastronomy.
What started as a small family farm in 1984 has grown into something much bigger. In 2017, we expanded our vision with the introduction of goat butter and a wider range of cheeses. That year put us on the world map as a respectful cheese factory when we won the Super Gold award at the World Cheese Awards. One of only 14 cheese factories chosen in the world!
By 2024, our original farm has become the most awarded cheese factory in Tenerife and for the first time ever, we opened the farm doors to the public for daily guided tours with cheese tastings.
We are a team of 20 people featuring three generations of Montesdeoca family members, with the mission of creating an innovative agricultural project, one that combines farming, production and community in one place.

We invite you to visit our facilities where you will be able to appreciate how we take care of our animals, what nourishments they receive and how we obtain our dairy milk necessary to elaborate our dairy products.
Guided Tour
A Journey Through the Art of Cheesemaking
Experience the award-winning Queseria Montesdeoca in Adeje, Tenerife, through a 60-minute guided farm tour. Observe over four hundred goats and sheep , witness traditional cheese-making and enjoy tasting various artisanal cheeses. The tour offers an immersive journey into the farm's daily operations and the rich flavors of its celebrated products.

Gastronomic Workshop
Culinary Magic in Montesdeoca’s Cheese Den
Discover a unique foodie adventure on a goat farm in Tenerife! Join our Gastronomic Workshop to craft almogrote, La Gomera’s traditional cheese spread, using fresh local ingredients. Perfect for groups of five or more, enjoy wine, a curated cheese board, and hands-on fun with chef hats and aprons provided. Take home secret recipes and tubs of deliciousness as the perfect souvenir!

Celebrate with Flavour and Tradition
Consider hosting your next celebration, birthday, engagement or anniversary at Queseria Montesdeoca. Our Cheese Den can accommodate up to 70 people and comes equipped with a bar, sound system and giant TV screen. Our scenic Mirador terrazza fits up to 50 people with views of the animals, La Gomera and Los Gigantes.
Choose to work with external caterers or order from our farm fresh menu showcasing the flavours of the Canary Island such as goat stew or roast pig. As a bonus, kids can also visit and pat the animals on the farm!
